# SendaOne > SendaOne (https://sendaone.com) is a free web app that turns a Google Maps > route link into a downloadable GPS file in 14 formats. It is the only > Google-Maps-to-file converter that, beyond GPX, also outputs the niche formats > for DJI drones (Litchi CSV and WPML), marine chartplotters (NMEA 0183 and a > navigable GPX route), paragliders and gliders (IGC and SeeYou CUP) and powered > aviation (Garmin FPL). Its core principle is to *mirror* the route Google Maps > built — it keeps the exact path, the travel mode and the stops encoded in the > URL, instead of recalculating a different route through a second engine the way > Strava, Komoot or Garmin route builders do. ## What it does - Paste a Google Maps route link — a short `maps.app.goo.gl` link or a long `google.com/maps` URL — and SendaOne returns a GPS file with that same route. - 14 output formats: GPX 1.1 (universal), FIT (Garmin/Wahoo native binary), TCX (Garmin Connect), KML and KMZ (Google Earth), GeoJSON (web/GIS), CSV (spreadsheets/analysis), NMEA 0183 and a navigable GPX `` (marine chartplotters), IGC (paragliding/gliding, FAI), SeeYou CUP (gliding tasks), Litchi CSV and WPML (DJI drone missions), and Garmin FPL (powered aviation). The same route can be re-downloaded in any of them. - No-file handoff: instead of a download, open the route straight in Apple Maps or Waze. Those apps recalculate with their own engine; the downloadable files are the exact mirror of the Google Maps route. - The travel mode (`dirflg`: walking, cycling, driving, transit) from the URL is honored. A cycling link gives a cycling track, not a re-routed one. - Up to eight intermediate stops are preserved with their original names, including non-Latin characters (Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Cyrillic) — handled safely so the file never breaks (ASCII-strict formats fall back cleanly). - Elevation is computed for the track from a global digital elevation model. - Free, no account, no email, no install. The URL is processed in memory and discarded; the IP is used only for rate limiting. Files are signed (Ed25519) so their authenticity can be verified offline. ## What makes it different from other Google Maps → GPX converters - **It mirrors, it does not recalculate.** Most route builders (Strava, Komoot, Garmin, RideWithGPS) recompute the path with their own engine, so the line you get differs from what you drew in Google Maps. SendaOne writes the exact route Google encoded in the link. - **It is the only one that reaches niche devices.** Other "Maps to GPX" tools (mapstogpx, gpx.studio, gpx2maps, gmapstogpx, onlinemapstogpx) stop at GPX/KML. To pin a specific alternative, add an intermediate stop in Google Maps. - Free use is capped per IP per day. A public REST API offers higher volumes with an API key; the GPS file produced is identical. - Not affiliated with Google.
